That's funny. It gave my rant to the editors five stars. The app deserves it, and more. So let's see what this one does.

Hey MacUpdate editors--How am I supposed to leave a five-star review? There is no way to select a star rating and the system just arbitrarily assigns four stars. The "fabulous" new system is useless. Have you actually tried to use it? You can't post a comment and you can't assign an overall star rating and you can't submit the form until you have added at least one thing that needs to be improved. WTH, people?

I'm not sure how long I've been using this app but i see below that I wrote a MacUpdate comment nine years ago, so it's been at least nine years. This is one fine app, I use it constantly every day, logging in and out of different tasks with almost zero effort. The summaries are great. You define tasks and sessions within a project. I suppose I use it a little oddly, where "project" = "life" and tasks are different things I do during the day or year--these would logically be called projects. I start a new session for each task that I engage in per day. Summaries let me see totals by day, week, year, last week, last month, etc., jut by clicking a tab button. You can set different hourly rates if that concerns you. I mostly use if for personal timekeeping so my rates are $0.00/hr. :-/ I love this app. It matches my needs perfectly and each January 1 I start a new "project." I want to leave a five-star review but the new MacUpdate review system is jut awful so I'll just leave this comment.

Very good! But now I have a weird inconvenient on OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan): When I open the application, it opens and duplicates my only saved Project file. It opens the exact same project in two different windows. I always have to close one of them. I don't know what happens if I work with one of the windows and left the other open.

Very, very satisfied. In combination with TimeTable, it is the perfect timekeeping app for me, as a freelance translator and writer. And the service! There was a glitch after an update, so I sent them an email on a Saturday, and received a fix on Sunday. That's right, on a Sunday. Un-be-lievable.
